RESPONSE: My dear Gabe, If #1 is true, then the Hospital is in double trouble. (a) It has the absolute responsibility to report a suspicious matter to the police. Being scared is not part of the medical lexicon; (b) It has violated patient confidentiality....IF it did so without specific consent from the patient. The other issue is that the delay and diversion (caused by the 'affair' drama) in all likelihood prevented the 'sealing off' of the 'crime scene'. Wrt #2: I hope that the exact details are made known on Direct examination and not have to be teased out by way of Cross examination. How many post-mortem examinations were there? jc
