That having been said, I agree with Frederick and disagree with Santoshbab. Rat traps are the best (and environmentally safest) methods of getting rid of rats. Just imagine a couple of dead rats on a high roof (as in the example given by FN) or in some other part of the house, to which access is difficult. I request Santoshbab to please allow Soter to provide us with the answer to his own question. Thus far, "in my research on GoaNet", I have found that 'alternative medicine cures everything. Perhaps, Fr. Ivo will graciously consent to give his opinion. jc
