The problem with Goa, and with most 'vocal' Goans is that, for them, the 'lines' are clearly demarcated, coloured, brainwashed and trained to hate. Ex. MGP which later became RSS-BJP- Congress etc. etc. " If you are in this line, you must hate anyone and everyone in the other line".

This is Mickky's case in point. Just because he went underground, he is guilty of murder.

By all means Jail, convict, hang him.

But he, as a human being, certainly deserves to be treated like a human being with full course of 'human rights'.

Convict him and he pays for his misdeeds. But before that, follow all norms, rules, procedures leading to his conviction or honourable discharge.

Also, visiting people who are behind bars, whether a friend, whatever, or even an enemy, is the prime duty of especially the breed called CHRISTIANS, which some or perhaps most will not know. BTW one does not have to be a Christian to do that. But if one does that, it becomes a humanitarian deed which is UNIVERSALLY taken as a Christian deed. [ No wonder why Christians are persecuted the most . The flaw is not with the Christians but with CHRIST :-)]

All in all, I say that Mickky, for whatever he was and has been, should not only be accorded full course of HUMAN RIGHTS but also seen to be accorded full course of HUMAN RIGHTS, especially because he was in the seat of power and might have forgotten this cardinal rule. It pays to remind these fellows the hard way.

Just because you have caged a lion, you want it starved? What's wrong with some mutton biryani of and on ???

:-)

Comment:
That is exactly my point. Why should it be a matter for concern to anyone?
Concern should arise when he is convicted by a court.
The problem arises because we have forgotten humanity and segregated
ourselves into ruling and opposition, the hatred of which people expect to
spill even in social life.
We need to draw some distinction somewhere.
Accepting that Goa's Politicians are the most dirty scoundrels.
Do human rights not apply to them even though they do not respect human rights?
Anyhow everyone is free to stick to their view.
