Dear Gabriel, I've read the book, In search of tomorrow, it doesn't shed any light on Congress' huge loss following Liberation. The book is out of print but a second edition perhaps is in the pipeline.
I spoke with Edila for a long time, she's a lovely lady. The Gaitonde's politics was shaped by their own experiences. One of the most wonderful thing about interviewing people is getting to know their own point of view. Incidentally, I came across a picture of your father on the Oheraldo dated January 1954 playing to an audience at the inaguaration of the Musica Academy.
