Guilty till proven innocent?

There is little doubt that there are large scale abuses of the system... but
should one go along with lose talk in this day of media dominated by
soundbytes and sensationalism? Just on the belief that it *might* be right?

Without intending to get personal, I remember the time when Aires
(campaigning against stray dogs) spoke about how a dog banged (or words to
that effect) into his friend's car! Must have been a highly overspeeding dog
that! Now we are hearing about haircuts for the turbaned!

Isn't it time that campaigners spoke with more care if they wish to retain
their credibility? FN
