If we in Goa were under oppression as informed to some of our people by their
parents, then, how come Portuguese names were given like Armando, Mateus, Jose
et al, why not Rahul, Prem, Manohar or for that matter
Liberation followed by the surname? Why borrow Portuguese names if we suffered
oppression.
