You have one more opportunity to answer the question: Dr. Barad, is this the same speaker who kept the Parrikar govt in power by not disposing the disqualification petitions against four ministers of the Parrikar govt filed by NCP leader Dr Wilfred de Souza??....... You will be surprised to note that your messages have everything to do with my analysis. That is why i responded to you.
My response: Mr. Bosco, I do read the messages from Goanet as well as from news agency and also send correction / response (to the best of my knowledge and as deemed fit by me) when I find some wrong reporting. You can check the archives. As regards your remark khali-phukat shore, I think, I'm not up to that...this remark can go to those who are writing with inclination to particular party and particular ideology and not writing in line with factual reality prevailing in Goa / India. To know the truth prevailing in Goa one has to be in Goa not in UK, USA, Canada, UAE etc. And you can definitely use Chor Machaye Shor to the speaker for not acting on petitions in the past (your query) and also during this term. If one questions him on this issue - he has only one answer - its speaker's prerogative - no one including judiciary can question me on this aspect!! Huum!! Such arrogant replies, and more such replies were given by him after he won 'no trust vote' moved against him recently. All such replies only suggest that he is forgetting that when any elected MLA takes over as speaker his party affiliation gets detached. And as a speaker he is also required to discharge all the petitions as fast as possible - although time limit to dispose petitions is not specified - he cannot sleep over it indefinitely! In case of present speaker - he acts only to please/protect the CM who is the leader of the house irrespective of party (which he has proved to be doing on two occasions as a speaker). His behavior is like our local news paper Navhind Times (NT) - which writes as is expected by government in power - as if NT is official gazette of Goa government!! I hope, at least now, you understood why I am using touching and meaningful subject lines. Lastly Mr. Bosco, I was not aware that my messages have everything to do with your analysis - for sure I'm surprised. Best regards, U. G. Barad
