Floriano Vaz did his primary education in English and therefore was a denationalised Goan according to BBSM. Was it the denationalisation that inspired Floriano Vaz laid down his life for Konkani as the official language? That a denationalised Goan was martyred for his language is a fact that the religous fundamentalists and casteists will never be able to erase. Probably denationalisation will help BBSM to be more peace loving.
