There are some Indian-origin professors of English in North America. The one that immediately comes to mind are Rakesh Bhatt, Braj Kachru and A.K Ramanujam, one of the finest Indian poets writing in English. Bhatt has edited a book on World Englishes. I have read Kachru's essay on Indian English in the periodical English Today many years ago. Indian English will continue to evolve, adding more Indian words to the language each year. The dictionary Hobson-Jobson needs to be updated. New technological terms are added each year tot he language, including the newest Twitter. The body of English language grows. Perhaps, many Konglish words may make its way into some of the world's renowned dictionaries. Does anyone knows which Konglish words are now part of English?
