The solicitude that Rina Ray professes for Tourism in Goa, in her current
Avatar as the Union Secretary for Tourism is "touching" (all in the wrong
sensitive places) Whilst it would indeed be a relief to be rid of some of the
"white trash" that currently masquerade as tourists, it is definitely not the
solution to set up Golf Courses in Goa, where land is scarce. We hope that none
of her friends/ relatives are holding a brief for Japanese Golf Course
Developers who want to make a super-duper killing by accquiring land in Goa. Ms
Rina ray must also undoubtedly be aware that whilst Land is sold in METRES in
GOA, it is soldin FEET in DELHI & MUMBAI, and in CENTIMETRES in Japan!!
Come on Ms Ray dont tilt at windmills.Hoping to set up Luxury facilities for
the super-rich at costs subsidised by the Goan and Indian Exchequer must make
you 'hide your face in shame"
Before you talk about your "pie in the sky" schemes please oh please, GRAND
DAME RINA, apply yourself to educate " tourists" that being in employment/or
doing business whilst on a Tourist Visa in India is against the law. That
consuming Narcotic & Psychotropic substances ,and providing a market for such
activities is illegal . That indulging in PAEDOPHILIA in Goa is not only
illegal but downright disgusting. OR ARE YOU DEAR MS. RINA RAY,UNION SECRETARY
OF TOURISM, GOVT. OF INDIA, INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE ,SO DAFT, DENSE and
OPAQUE as to believe that RICH INDUSTRIALISTS,DIPLOMATS,and the WEALTHY DO NOT
HAVE THE VICES THAT OTHER TOURISTS SUFFER FROM???. Is your IAS memory so weak
as to leak so quickly the circumstances and fate that befell the former Chief
of the IMF in USA?
Thanks, but no thanks ,for your ideas and suggestions. Go peddle them elsewhere
in India. Afterall you have a pan-India mandate as Union Tourism Secretary,
Govt. of India.
No regards,
Gerry
