FN, I think that the Govt of India has to concentrate on Indian expats only. That is those who have gone to foreign countries on a two year work contract and have to return to India after their work contract expires. The Indian Govt does need to provide these expats with all the services they require. Then there is a second group of Goans/Indians abroad that are not Indians. These are people who have decided to leave India and take up the citizenship of another country. Such people, myself included, should be of no interest to the Indian Govt. They are related to India only by ethnicity. In countries like Mauritius, Guyana and Trinidad, half the population is of Indian descent. These people regard Goa/India they same way Ronald Reagan or Barrack Obama view Ireland. It is the country their forefathers left and a nice place to visit as a tourist. Mervyn1853Lobo
