Need clean faces to contest elections and clean the mess
Justice Ferdinho Rebello's statement regarding the attack on
the environment and the fast conversion of our agriculture land into concrete
jungle is very much true.It's all happening with the blessing of the people in
power.The present government though elected by the people looks like
they represent the illegal mining lobby,Real Estate developers and all sort
of powerful ugly people.
The history creators of my village of Cuncolim died long ago and sorry to say
that they will never come back again.Presently we don't have our own leader to
represent us in the Goa assembly as a result of which we have been electing a
man from Varca to represent us during the last two assembly elections and sorry
to say that some of the Cuncollekars have even termed him as our Saviour.
The village have given birth to sons like Justice Ferdinho Rebello and only
people like him can clean the present mess created in our system.Middle class
people sometimes don't have an alternative with regard to elections as a result
of which they prefer to stay inside their houses on the election day.Passing
statements, writing articles and giving speeches won't help,people like Justice
Ferdinho Rebello,Dr.Oscar Rebello etc should contest elections and try to
change the present illegal ugly system developing in Goa.
Will Cuncollekar Justice Rebello contest the coming polls from the Cuncolim
constituency?Niz Cuncollekars wants you to contest,will you oblige?It's a
million dollar question?
