Dear Bosco,

The copyright holder is the producer and director of the film. If you
purchase a physical copy of the movie you do not automatically get
copyright. I wonder how much Jerome paid Frank Ferdinand or his
estate/descendants. Did he pay anything at all? Does he have their
permission to reproduce and sell the film?

RESPONSE: Err...What about the rights of the copyright holder. I believe
that would be Jerome Mendes of Leonoras (Verna) fame. I think he owns
the original 36mm movie reels too which he did convert to DVDs which are
on sale in Goa - Leonoras for certain; perhaps other outlets too.
