RESPONSE: Inconsequential, imo. It is possible there were other owners
between the late Frank Fernand and Jerome Mendes?? Patents, copyrights &
trademarks can change ownership for a penny or for millions. I doubt he
has to present that evidence to claim/fight a copyright violation.
Perhaps a legal eagle on Goanet can extrapolate.

RESPONSE: At this point in time, I believe he owns the copyright and
needs no permission to do as he pleases with the film.
