Similar is the case with irctc.co.in - the Indian Railway Online booking portal, where refunds are given after 7 days and with Online Advt booking, where refund is given after 14 days - both personal experiences, in similar circumstances as Joegoauk i.e. not my fault.
Worse is Online purchases with Timtara.com where refunds take more than 6 months - I am still waiting for my refund of payment made in March and order cancelled by them as they did not have the item in stock, I ordered for !!!
