Specifically, for folks reading this thread: I'm pretty sure the license on this code is not open source, by any definition of the term (severe restrictions on allowed uses, also does not specify that the grant is perpetual - so afaict it could be revoked retroactively at any time). If such things matter to you, you probably want to carefully review the license before contributing.
