Sorry is this is too easy and i've missed something in the documents. I am working on a new website and I have used a template which I am modifying. So far so good. The template came with a search feature but when you use it it simply forwards you to google. Looking at this site I now have a API key and I have been through the wizard to get the code to replace the existing code on the template. I took the code and replaced the key= section with my key (hope this was right as it was not working).
This is the page with the code and key http://www.tonic-studios.co.uk/google.html The only problem is it doesn't find any results even if I type things I know are on the other pages. Am I being silly expecting it to find the other pages - do I need to compile the other pages for it to search? Is what im doing reliant to search within just this website (that's what I selected in the wizard). I find the google help a little too complex for my level, which is just above nothing!
