It looks to me as though the AJAX part of the search is working properly, at least in FF. When I ran a couple of test searches on the CSE itself, they came back with no results, just as the overlay on your site does. When I run a search for site:www.tonic-studios.co.uk at google.com, it similarly comes back with no results, which would indicate to me that your site is probably not yet included in Google's index. There are a number of things that you can do to make sure that it gets included, including submitting the url to their "Add a URL" form ( http://www.google.com/addurl/?hl=en ), utilizing Google Webmaster Tools ( http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools ), and developing and submitting a sitemap (which can be done through Webmaster Tools).
