Hi, my company owns a translation website that uses Google's Ajax Language API. The service is free for all end users. We are thinking of implementing a paid-version of the site that will have additional features: no ads, tts and dictionary. Of course the free version will ALWAYS be available.
Before we even start developing anything new, we want to be sure that we are not violating any of the rules. According to this api's Terms of Service: 1.3 Appropriate Conduct and Prohibited Uses. The Service may be used only for services that are accessible to your end users without charge. -- found in http://code.google.com/apis/ajaxlanguage/terms.html Under my point of view, the idea would not violate the ToS because the users are paying for additional features only; the translation feature is free for everybody that visits the website. Still it would be nice to get some feedback on this matter. Thanks for your opinions. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google AJAX APIs" group.
