Just read that Datanucleus supports JPA2 now. I've already build a 
RF-driven JPA2 project at work. So JPA2 would be a natural choice. 

*Does anybody know whether it's as simple&transparent as with Objectify to 
use GAE's caching in JPA2&Datanucleus on GAE?*
