But I am more interested in learning web programming and GAE is great for learning. But in my submit page I have a field for tags. So if I enter the url http://news.ycombinator.com/ and enter the tag "startup" and submit; if you search for "startup" you would get Hacker News in search results. http://ting-1.appspot.com/rt?rt=startup If techcrunch wants to be listed first when "startup" is searched in ting, they may add one dollar value to the tag "startup" (by using Google Checkout!) and in that case techcrunch will be listed above hacker news. At least this simplified SEO a lot :) > > That is not against the GAE TOS, but is against the Google Search, and > Google Adsense TOS. So, thanks for your post, of course, I would be disappointed if this is against any Google policy but as I said I would just use it privately as a link tank. In any case, with this application I learned a lot, database operations seem to work, I can display related tags with search results, I can pass url parameters, all these I learned by asking here and trying. I also like the fact that GAE is not mySQL. > > -Brandon > > > > > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Zeynel > Sent: Thursday, March 24, 2011 4:56 PM > To: Google App Engine > Subject: [google-appengine] Re: Review my app and win a $25 Amazon Gift > Certificate > > On Mar 24, 7:42 pm, "Brandon Wirtz" <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Really?
