Hi Raymond You will need more than a single sysadmin to make a system scalable enough on AWS to deal with a royal-wedding-bells-in-cloud and even on AWS it will cost you a lot.
Not defending in anyway price changes, but you are seriously over simplifying what is required to build a large scalable system.
