The connection problem also seems to go away if you navigate to the account url directly.
The website will show "Method Not Allowed - Error 405", then iCal syncing seems to work for a bit. url - https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/user I haven't counted the number of syncs, but eventually the sync stops working.
