It would not make it impossible, just more difficult. For example: subround 1A would be Friday night, 7pm locally. The conference technically ends for the day around 5, but usually it's nice to linger and not rush back to the hotel. Subround 1B is Saturday 10am. The php| tek page says the conference runs through Saturday, but elsewhere it says Friday. I have a note in to the conference organizer to confirm. If it truly ends on Friday, then round 1B would work for me. Of course, Round 1C is Sunday 3am locally, which I could do, though I'll likely not be thinking very clearly :-) Thanks for considering everyone's input.
