I apologize in advance if I have missed a glaringly obvious answer, but I
have waded through so many posts that I am not sure what the correct answer
is and I am running short on time.

I have recently been asked to work with the Google Shared Contacts API so
that users of a Google Apps domain can share their vendor and customer
contacts. Here is what they are looking for:

Domain User 1 can email [email protected]
Domain User 2 can go to compose (or contact manager) and see contact
information for [email protected]

The problem I have here is that I have created a contact through the Shared
Contacts API and got a success (200 OK) message. When I query through the
API I see the contact. However when I go to Contacts inside the users
environment I don't see any of the contacts loaded through the API. I know
there is a 24 hour window, but that has long passed (we are going on 5 days
since the first add).

The questions are this:

Will shared contacts created through the API show up in the Contacts Manager
within Google Apps?
Will shared contacts created in Contact Manager be available through the
Shared Contacts API?
What is the secret here? Do you have to work with each user account
separately to get all contacts and add them to the Shared Contacts list?

Thanks in advance for your help!
