The new changes are causing Google to "bleed out" their credibility.
Some (most?) of the changes are good and beneficial. I hold that the
changes, themselves, are not the issue with this deep and strong
resentment to the change. It appears that Google has changed their
focus from the end-user to the developer. This (in the opinion of
many people) is the evil that made Microsoft evil. The Google mantra
of 'don't be evil' seems to have been lost.

What needs to happen is that Google needs to admit their mistake.
Admit to rolled out changes without adequate testing, admit to rolling
out changes without user consent, admit to not providing an option for
which format users can chose, admit to losing customer (user) focus.
After these admissions, change things back to the way they used to be
and then go back to do further testing. Then, after the testing, do
roll out the changes again. Let people know beforehand. Let people
chose to go back to the way things used to be.

. . . . Respect people.. . . .

I like many of the features of the changes. However the loss of focus
on the end-user in favor of focusing on the developer is changing
Google into Microsoft.
