Looks like I spoke a little prematurely. The gadget works again, but only partially. Previous functionality was that the gadgets prefs display was over- written by my custom settings display. This is no longer the case, so individual feeds cannot be customized. Perhaps some of the internals of iGoogle are changing? The other unfortunate thing is that gadgets use long url's to save data and to paint themselves. If you have enough prefs of sufficient length, the urls become too long and both saving and painting fails. Hopefully my custom prefs will return at some point, otherwise some good functionality is definitely lost, and that would be a bummer.
