We're not doing it at this time. Like Jesse said in the other thread, this will break existing users. Major version or not, the small maintenance overhead of having too many classes in a private package is nothing compared to breaking users. We'll move the classes automatically with jarjar once it supports prefixing the class names with "$" or something (so they don't show up for auto-import).
