Just to add one more opinion to this thread, I think there should have been
two point releases:
- The Struts 2 plugin was broken in 1.0, a point release would have avoided
a _lot_ of confusion.
- Provider methods. Incredibly useful, low impact on the code. Point
release.

Other than that I don't think there's anything wrong about trying to get a
solid release together. And I also agree that you can't work on Guice with 5
people. Guice is not dead; Jesse has spent a tremendous amount of time and
effort on Guice 2.0, for which we can't thank him enough. Thanks Jesse!
