I just installed Picasa3 beta on my Mint 5 KDE machine, (based on
Kubuntu Hardy Heron), and it works well, the new features are great,
and it appears very stable, but when I right-click on a thumbnail, the
Open File and Open With options are grayed out and inoperative. The
open File option worked on my Picasa 2.7 install on this same machine,
opening the picture in Gwenview, but the Open With option was
unavailable on 2.7 as well.I would very much like to get the Open File
option working at least, as it provided an easy 2-click solution to
opening my pictures in an external editor, such as PhotoShop. On an
unrelated note, the minimize button keeps vanishing from the upper
left corner of the title bar on the Pica window. To get it back I
have to right-click the title bar, select Configure Window Behavior,
click on the Buttons tab, then in the window mock-up, drag the
Minimize button off the title bar, then drag it back on and click
Apply. This problem does not occur on any of my other app windows,
only on Picasa's. I hope you can help with these minor quibbles. All
