Okay, it looks like the Minimize button vanishes after I return to the main window from viewing a slide show. By the way, I can't tell you how happy I am that the slide show now works properly in full screen, full resolution, advances automatically, etc., just as it did in Windows. This is the one feature for which I have been most fervently wishing since the first beta of Picasa for Linux, more that two years ago. I don't know how you guys finally got it to play nice, but I'm sure glad you did. Ben
