Hi Henri, I have the 3.5 version that was installed via wine in the following folder:
/home/paulw/.wine/drive_c/ProgramFiles/Google/Picasa3/ I also have the original 3.0 version that was installed via the package along side a copy of the 3.5 in the following folder, with a symlink in place to preserve desktop menu paths: /opt/google/picasa/3.0/wine/drive_c/ProgramFiles/Google/Picasa3/ -> Picasa3.5/ /opt/google/picasa/3.0/wine/drive_c/ProgramFiles/Google/Picasa3.0/ /opt/google/picasa/3.0/wine/drive_c/ProgramFiles/Google/Picasa3.5/ Both copies of 3.5 exhibit the same behaviour when run either from the desktop menu (the 3.5 install created an entry under Wine->Programs), command line or nautilus: asking for a new Google Maps API key. Don't get me wrong, it runs ok, just the map section stays blank. Did some digging about and found some reference to an MSHTML frame problem, so installed the "gecko" cab for both the system and local google copies but it didn't seem to help anything.
