It is interesting to note that google has made billions of dollars using linux and has even made their own linux distributions, but they won't support linux users by making some of their best products - like picasa - work on linux. The argument, of course is that not enough people use linux to make it worthwhile. The reason more people don't use linux is because they don't have software - like picasa. So the Catch 22 is that more people won't and can't use linux because companies like google will use it and benefit from all of the free development that has gone into it, but choose to only give back a little to the community.
