Your two cents were valuable to me, so I changed the control's
behavior to require the mouse "click".

And, I've changed its name: it's now called RubberBandCtrl.

Let me know what you think. Once it passes your test (and hopefully a
few others out there) I'll post the source code and some additional
documentation for all to use.
