This will impact me pretty heavily, however that said the Google Maps API as it stands now has all the base foundations to build almost anything. I also am aware of the effort that was put into the API even with the significantly low amount of developers using it; for that I applaud Google's efforts. I still think flash will have a potential to make a bigger splash in the geo-sector when molehill gets some more traction, and we can start seeing 3D buildings and terrain. However, hopefully this means the wrapper for GWT will be upgraded to v3, and marker sizes won't be locked.
