1. The screen shot of the map on the mobile phone has a MultiMap logo. That's not Google. 2. They are using ASP, and with some Microsoft concoctions it is (unnaturally) possible to run javascript on the server side. 3. There is an undocumented http driving directions service in Google, but it returns JSON.
