Hey Pamela,

Wow - thanks SO MUCH for responding. This really clarifies things for
me and i'll switch back to Google maps in Webview :)

@Lance

--> Why would hire a lawyer, when they wouldn't even be able to help
me understand it ? Its all "mights, ifs and 'ands'. They aren't going
to tell me anything more than I, myself, can read. The whole point of
a TOS is to NOT HAVE FUD. They are supposed to clarify a companies
position to a developer/end user. Do you think, after this long post
thread - everyone is "clarified"?

There is just no point putting time and effort into something to just
have it quashed. It's great that Pamela has responded to post because
there will be 100s of other developers out there wondering this exact
same thing. You'll note that many apps in the iPhone store use
Microsoft Maps because of this EXACT reason. Some of my friends have
recommending using Microsoft Maps simply because there TOS is more
clearly defined and they didn't want to go through the issues of
violations when showing the map in webview on the iphone.

Anywho - thanks again Pamela for responding! Google Rocks!

Cheers,

Andy
