Agreed, but what I'm saying is that, when they get upset because you
tell them that their question is basic javascript/HTML, it would be
nice to have a paragraph like that, in the group's own documentation,
that we can quote and point them to.

With all due respect to the OP, it starts with a relevant question, he
does not understand the answer, and then the question turns to basic
javascript, and the OP gets upset when I tell him so.
