There's a rather basic problem that you'll run into with your idea:
Geocoding is more art than science.

One can guess which side of the road an address is on depending on the
odd-even nature, but there is no guarantee this will be accurate.
Google's "roof top" geocoding may also give you more or less accurate
results in this, but it won't be something you can count on. Probably
the best method is either to check each street individually, or call
the people that are going to get on the bus and ask them. I don't
think you'll be finding an automated method that will work with any
satisfaction.
