Yeah. I quite understand that. I've never found any navigation/mapping app or data source that has ever been 100% accurate in this case. My old chilchood home actually still shows up on a number of these data sources as being about 1.5 miles north of where it should be and has been this way for years. And this is on a major state highway too.
Even if it's mostly accurate in that it gets the sides of the roads correct on more than half of the addresses, it would have accomplished a good deal. As it stands now, the drivers have either had to take their personal vehicles out to check all the addresses or hope and guess where these children live the first day they have to be picked up. In addition, there comes the problem of having to notify the parents a general timeframe of pickup which would make this a nice feature to have around. My concern is I'm not exactly sure where to begin on querying this address data in the API the way I want. I do see in the main maps.google system that it does list address blocks and seems to differentiate sides of the roads based on odd/even numbers the way I'd hope, just have no known way at this moment in my research how to pull that info.
