Yea, I was afraid of that. It does seem such a waste of processing to have to cycle through an array every time I want to show/hide a set of markers.
I would think the Google API would allow me to define a set of markers as a "group" and allow me to show/hide markers based upon that "grouping". Oh well, thanks for the pointers.
