hi violet, in your demo the first set of bird strike data is over 1000
polylines.  Each line is added as a new overlay to the map. I think
1000 overlays might be beyond  what's possible with javascript.  There
are reasonable limits for numbers of markers, numbers of points in
polylines, numbers of overlays etc. Search this group to find what
people think these upper limits are.

Which browser are you using for testing?  To ensure a responsive user
interface, browsers will abort javascript processing during rendering
if it's taking too much CPU.  On your demo map for mainland USA I got
better performance on Firefox 3 compared to IE6.  And trying it with
Google Chrome completely crashed my computer!!

Also try the same data as KML in Google Earth.  Bird Strike data might
look better in 3D anyway.
