It will require a different method and/or changes to the calling
conventions - an array of arrays instead of an array of points.

The "mld" image server stuff if full of bugs (in the API - not at the
server itself).  Unfortunately, it is no longer supported.  It could
be a great companion service for static maps.  I suspect it is still
being used to decorate static maps.
