Is your application a derivative work of another developer? Rarely are
applications 100% unique, most are cobbled together from examples and
demos from this forum. Most applications, regardless of their source,
cannot really be protected by copyright. A few changes in the code and
it's a completely different work, another derivative.

If you patent your application, which I don't know if it's even
possible, then this is a different issue.
