in you map load up - use your bounding box to request if a streetview
file is available.
send a request
like
if filesize is bigger than 0.65 kB (662 bytes) then it will be a
streetview tile.

a street view tile

show StreetView - so switch on streetview button

not a streetview tile
http://cbk0.google.com/cbk?output=overlay&zoom=14&x=4954&y=7000&cb_client=api
show StreetView - so switch off streetview button
