I wasn't justifying it: I was explaining what the UN did. It was
precisely to distinguish between the Greek Macedonia and the
Macedonian Macedonia. There aren't all that many other places where a
province of one country has the same name as a sovereign country
adjacent to it.

That's just silly. Whoever's heard of a tiny insignificant place in
the middle of nowhere? Or even that place in Arkansas? :-)
