Thanks. In fact I can get it to break without reloading or anything, just playing with the original red polygon. - Delete the south-east corner. - Drag the centre-point of the hypotenuse to re-create a south-east corner. - Delete the north-east corner. - Drag the centre-point of the diagonal to re-create the north-east corner. It appears that something which should be a GLatLng is actually null. Playing with it in more complicated ways I managed to get a collection of points of which just two "real" corners were joined by a line through a "midpoint"; and after that moving some of the vertices resulted in incomplete polygons being drawn. Using v=2, deleting the south-east corner results in the polygon disappearing and leaving the vertex-markers behind. Dragging a marker to re-create the south-east corner gets the same error as v=2.x. That also happens in 2.130d. The current behaviour may be related to Issue 971, which is marked as fixed in v2.142. The behaviour of editable polygons is certainly different in 2.142 from that in previous versions, but it still doesn't appear to be right. http://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=971 I suggest raising a new issue, and possibly commenting 971 as well.
