No. Doesn't happen to me when I do that.
What version of IE6 are you using?
What operating system?

I am using 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.080814-1233 on WinXP.

Don't use IE, use a real browser (Firefox, Chrome or Opera).  I know
that isn't possible if you are a developer and need to support the
people that don't know any better, but I only use IE as my main
browser at work where it is mandated by corporate IT.
