I am not sure but doubt it. Both my desktop and laptop were reinstalled from scratch two months ago. The desktop is my main dev machine and I have installed IE7 and service pack 3 right after the reinstallation. I did not do any update on my notebook, deliberately preserving an IE6 environment (I suppose mot nonIT users may not do any update). I found the IE6 problem on the notebook first on any polyline at my hand. After that I removed from desktop the service pack 3 and IE7 and confirmed that the problem is the same.
I suppose hardly anybody would do any refresh when he has polyline on. This probably explains why I failed to find any message reporting a similar case in the first place.
