Yes, I get the ESRI licensed shapefile from our university, but they don't include PR region.
We are trying to analyze our zipcode from 1992-2006 to link different source of data together and using spatial interpolation to fill up some missing value for each year. e.g. data1--> zip year1 x1 year2 x2 data2--> zip year1 y1 year3 y3 for data1 we don't have x3, we will predict based on x1 and x2 of year1 I found that some of my zips are only point feature rather than an polygon. Is it necessary to get every reference US ZIP code shapefile for each year to geocode my zips? Or would it be possible to get the lat/longitude for those zip points and use centroid for zip polygon? Does these make sense? Thanks!
